Seemed like too much deflection when in lowest gear so it made a lot of noise when new. Seemed to quiet somewhat after use. Great support from RF after I asked some questions.
IMO, except for racing, most fast bikes need smaller chainrings because you spend most of your time in lower gears, therefore increase the offset. Maybe there is opportunity here for RF.

Excited for this low gear on my DJ, lots of clearance & makes the 10t rear bearable. I'm running 1/8 inch chain and seems to be quiet and running smooth so far.

I love the 24t on my fat bike. With 52t rear cog I can crawl up steep climbs and power through brush. It’s so much fun crawling while modulating the brake, as long as you don’t have to go over high obstacles that require momentum or a slow pedal cadence to time the crank to clear. In those cases I just shift. I climbed up a deer trail through a steep pine forest yesterday. This gear gives me extra spin needed to roll super low fat tire pressures. Allows me to sit high and back to keep weight over the rear to reduce slip. So cool to go where skinny bikes can’t. I’m glad that RF offers a 24t direct mount. No one else seems to. I wish they had a 22 or even a 20.
